Well we arrived Thursday night so we could take part in the meet and grett, well that was a big bust, did not see any of the big stars, although there was a rumor that a couple of them waved from their limo as they drove by. We did meet a couple of nice folks though, Katie Cord and her hubby. She has written a zombie novel called "He Left Her at the Alter, She Left Him to the Zombies" which I will be reading this weekend. Watch for an interview and review of her book, she sold a ton of her books at the show. Cindy and Katie became kindred spirits that evening.

Voracious, malevolent, crazy, cruel, predatory, relentless...

...And those are just the survivors.

Inside you'll find ten horrifying, touching, and humorous stories of strong women whose fates are crossed with those of the undead. Within these pages you'll meet:

•Max, an awkward misfit whose life is about to change in ways she never imagined.
•Liv, an amoral researcher determined to cure the love of her life, no matter what the consequences.
•Maddison, a bubbly blonde sociopath who decides to settle some old(and new) scores.
•Misty, the world’s least competent voodoo priestess. •Joelynn, a woman with a viral death sentence who’s about to light the delta on fire.
•Ebony, daughter turned destroyer.

When the dead walk the earth, who lives and who dies? And if anyone survives, what comes next/

I really wanted one of these guys "Gnombies" $118 for the big ones, did score a shirt for Cindy

How about some insurance against the zombie apokalypse get yourself some "Zaico" I accused them of being a scheme since it was highly unlikely to ever have to pay out an policies. Very clever and fun

The real darling of the show Judith O'dea who was a charming as she was lovely. I will talk more about my conversations with her later

One of the first things we saw thursday night was the two new oversize action figures, full scale maquettes of Meat Grinder and Napalm Charlie these were done by Travis Shewchuk of Ravenous EFX. All the VC clothing and G.I. uniform are authentic to the era.

We made Cindy up as a army medic to fit in with the '68 booth. The guts are a stiff cloth material painted and then goobered up with stage blood, just like the movies, corn syrup and red dye. Let me tell you thats some sticky sweet stuff. Kind of looked like bacon.

She shambled around the con chewing on her own innards, must of got her picture taken a couple hundred times, most common comment was "thats just wrong" I called her guts girl, another person commented that she was a self sustaining zombie.

I had Tim do these Nazi Zombies for me

Another zombie Tim did at the show that I ended up buying at the end of the show

And two sketch covers I asked Tim to do of the Red Skull

There was a zombie prom dance Saturday night that had people who did not even come to the con came dressed up for.

This was done buy some guys who had a zombie app that for $3 they would take your picture and zombify it and print you a picture, for $2 more they would also send you an email file.

Timmy

A piece Tim did trying to see what he could do in a short amount of time, which came out really nice.

A mushroom fairy which I also liked

Some other stuff he drew at the show

Over all the show was dreadfully lacking in sales for both Tim and Michael, not being a comic oriented show there was mostly looky loo's just come for the zombie spectacle and not buying much of anything from anybody
