Hey all, Well, I had a bunch typed at first but in my frustration / excitement I lost it and had to start over, perhaps this time you could just click on the links: LAMB OF GOD's Randy Blythe Arrested For Manslaughter www.thegauntlet.com/article/525/25639/LAMB-OF-GODs-Randy-Blythe-Arrested-For-ManslaughterLamb Of God Members Return Home From Europe, Alleged Footage Of Incident Surfaces www.theprp.com/2012/07/01/news/lamb-of-god-members-return-home-from-europe/GWAR’s Dave Brockie goes off on Randy Blythe’s detention in Czech Republic: wtvr.com/2012/07/05/gwars-dave-brockoe-goes-off-on-randy-blythes-detention-in-czech-republic/Lamb Of God Fan Petitions White House To Intervene In Blythe Case: gunshyassassin.com/news/lamb-of-god-fan-petitions-white-house-to-intervene-in-blythe-case/Security Guard At Center Of Randy Blythe Ordeal Tells Victim To "Calm Down" www.thegauntlet.com/article/525/25720/Security-Guard-At-Center-Of-Randy-Blythe-Ordeal-Tells-Victim-To-Calm-DownThe New 'Evidence' Against Randy Blythe www.thegauntlet.com/article/525/25739/The-New-Evidence-Against-Randy-BlytheRandy Blythe's Wife Allowed Visitation www.thegauntlet.com/article/525/25747/Randy-Blythes-Wife-Allowed-Visitationand a quote from one of the recent updates: And again the link to sign the petition: petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/help-free-d-randall-blythe-prage-czech-republic-where-he-falsely-accused-commiting-manslaughter/3dsZD2Gd?utm_source=wh.gov&utm_medium=shorturl&utm_campaign=shorturlMy take on all this: the game changed after Dimebag, it is no longer acceptable to go jumping on stage, in a 'mosh pit friendly' environment or no. My friend, innocent or not, is in a foreign jail, doesn't speak the language, and I'm SURE the whole thing is going to boil down to which corrupt Czech palm needs the grease. Thanks for letting me vent, I feel kind of helpless except for being able to 'get the word out.'

What To Expect The Next Few Days In The Randy Blythe Ordeal
Music fans all over the world have had their eyes and ears on the Czech Republic over the last few weeks waiting to see the outcome in the Randy Blythe situation. On Tuesday July 17, there was a closed door meeting where Blythe's attorney's offered to pay double the bail, a total of $400,000 USD to show that Blythe is willing to return if needed. The judges accepted the bail without conditions and it was granted. As of now, the official court documents have not been processed so the increased bail hasn't been paid. Once they are received by Blythe's counsel, bail will be paid (hopefully Friday July 20) and then the clock starts ticking again as the Prosecutor's office has 3 days to accept or deny bail. If bail is accepted, Blythe will be free to go as early as Friday. If bail is denied, a judge can rule on it as early as Wednesday July 25. The Prosecutor has denied bail before and wasn't willing to accept the increased bail on Tuesday but a lot of the public support in the Czech Republic against Randy has been dissipating due to evidence showing Blythe wasn't violent on stage. It is also interesting to note that much of the media coverage in the Czech Republic has stopped calling Blythe the "American Murderer" and is now calling him "The Accused". Their coverage of Randy's detainment is now closer to the middle. This will hopefully give Randy a fair shot at bail which is all his lawyers ever asked for. Manslaughter charges from the prosecutor still haven't been filed. Everything in the courts for the last three weeks has just been about bail. We will keep you posted.

Wow, I didn't hear about this. How fucking stupid! I saw the video and Randy didn't do anything that we haven't seen a million times at metal shows. He barely gave the guy a shove when he pushed him off stage!
If you're stage diving, you know the risks.

Randy Blythe Remains in Czech Jail After His Bail Is Challenged Once Again by Prosecutor loudwire.com/randy-blythe-remains-in-czech-prison-after-his-bail-is-challenged-once-again-by-prosecutor/The saga of Randy Blythe‘s Czech imprisonment has met another road block, as the prosecutor in Blythe’s case once again challenged the vocalist’s bail. The prosecutor, who represents the family of a fan who died of a head injury sustained at a 2010 Lamb of God show, has now challenged Blythe’s bail for the second time and is reportedly seeking to keep Blythe in prison until a possible trial begins. After his arrest nearly a month ago, Blythe attempted to pay his bail of approximately $200,000 in order to be released from Czech prison. The prosecutor, however, challenged the bail and attempted to prevent the release of the Lamb of God vocalist. Although the prosecutor’s complaint was denied, Blythe’s bail was doubled to approximately $400,000. After putting up the increased amount of money for bail once again, it was believed that Blythe may possibly be granted a release this week, but this latest complaint will keep Blythe behind bars for at least another week, if not indefinitely. According to the Gauntlet, their Czech sources revealed this latest development to the website. “What happens now is that on Friday (July 27, 2012), the prosecutor will be back before the judge to give reason for the bail denial,” reports the Gauntlet. “At that point, the judge has five days to rule, and another five days for it to be written or published to the court. The judges ruling at this point will be final and unless charges are formally filed, Randy will be free to leave the Czech Republic without condition on bail.” Stay tuned for more breaking news on the developments of the Randy Blythe situation. Lamb of God are still accepting donations for Blythe’s legal fund.

Lamb Of God Cancel Tour After Singer Randy Blythe Denied Bail Band cancels planned tour with Dethklok due to Blythe's continued jailing in the Czech Republic. www.mtv.com/news/articles/1690556/lamb-of-god-cancel-tour-randy-blythe-bail.jhtmlAs they await news about the latest attempt to secure bail for their jailed singer, Randy Blythe,
metal band Lamb of God announced on Thursday (July 26) that they have been forced to cancel their planned co-headlining tour with Dethklok. More pressingly, according to reports, Blythe remains jailed in the Czech Republic and it is increasingly unclear if he will be allowed to post bail in his manslaughter case over the 2010 death of a fan at a LOG show. According to The Gauntlet, the prosecutor in the case has challenged Blythe's attempt to secure bail with a $400,000 payment that is double the amount the singer originally posted to secure his release as he awaits a possible trial. Following Wednesday's challenge, the prosecutor will submit his reasoning for the latest bail denial in court on Friday. At that point, the judge will have five days to rule, which will be followed by five more days to write up and publish the findings to the court. The judge's ruling will be final at that point unless formal charges are filed and Blythe should be free to leave the Czech Republic without any bail conditions and return to the United States. A spokesperson for the band did not return requests for comment at press time. D. Randall "Randy" Blythe, 41, was arrested on June 27 at the airport in Prague in connection with the death of a fan at one of the band's shows in 2010. Blythe said in an interview last week
that he knew nothing about any "sort of incident [that allegedly took place during the concert]" and that he remembered "very few details" about the show. Authorities charge that at a 2010 concert at Prague's Club Abaton Blythe allegedly shoved a local fan from the stage. The man Czech media identified only as "Daniel N." reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage that left him comatose and resulted in his death 14 days afterward. Blythe's representatives have denied the charges
and he's received support from a number of his cohorts in the metal community
, including Slash and Sebastian Bach. While his band mates have set up a legal support fund to raise money for his defense, Blythe said he's spending his time in jail reading and writing letters to friends and family as well as keeping a diary. He's getting along well with his cellmate and is working on a book about his time in the Pankrac prison, while also working on new lyrics. In a statement the band announced the tour cancellation of the tour, which was due to kick off on August 1 in Seattle. "The band regrets the decision but the uncertainty of Randy's release makes it impossible to carry on with the tour.," read the statement. "Upon Randy's release, it is the band's intention to rebook a tour in the fall and at this time the band fully intends to participate in the Mayhem Cruise in December."

\m/ Let freedom ROCK!!!!! \m/ Lamb of God singer Randy Blythe was released Thursday from Prague jail, the band's rep confirms to E! News. The 41-year-old metal musician has spent the past five weeks in a Czech prison after being arrested and charged with manslaughter stemming from the 2010 death of a fan. Over the objection of prosecutors, who wanted him held behind bars because they said he might never return to the country, Blythe was allowed to leave after posting $400,000 bail. Two years ago during a Lamb of God concert, Blythe allegedly pushed the man off the stage, causing him to sustain head injuries that he later died from. When the band returned to Prague for another show this year, Blythe was arrested on June 27. Blythe has maintained his innocence, telling a newspaper from behind bars, "I don't know anything about any sort of incident." "I remember very few details about the show, mainly because I have played a lot of concerts," he said. "I just remember that the stage at the club was very small, and we barely managed to fit our equipment on there. Also, apparently there was a security guard there because many people climbed onto the stage, including one small boy, in particular, but I could be mixing up details with what happened at other clubs." "I did not attack anyone," he added. "The only way I could have come into contact with anyone from the audience was if I was protecting myself." After scrapping all tour dates due to his incarceration, Blythe's bandmates raised funds for his legal defense, calling the situation "maddening." With Blythe now back on board, the band has already agreed to play Knotfest Shows on Aug. 17 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Aug. 18 in Somsert, Wisc., and is targeting Oct. 26 as the start date for their U.S. tour. www.eonline.com/news/335296/lamb-of-god-singer-randy-blythe-bails-out-of-jail-still-faces-fan-death-charges

Lamb Of God’s Randy Blythe Releases First Official Statement Since Release bloody-disgusting.com/news/3157784/lamb-of-gods-randy-blythe-releases-first-official-statement-since-release/Last Friday, the metal community woke up to news that Lamb Of God singer Randy Blythe was released from Czech Republic prison after spending over a month in incarceration in the death of a fan in 2010. It was a welcome victory for fans and musicians alike who have been fighting to bring awareness to this case since the beginning. Now, Blythe has released his first official statement since release where he goes over three key points. The first is his appreciation and gratitude to the fans, family, friends, community, and everyone else who showed support. The second is a short description of his time in the jail itself and how he was treated fairly. The last point is that, if necessary, he will return to Prague to stand trial. You can read the full statement below. Greetings. This is D. Randall Blythe, checking in from my beloved hometown of Richmond, VA, United States of America. I was recently released on bail from Pankrác Prison in Prague, Czech Republic, after over a month of incarceration. Now that I am out for the moment, I would like to say a few things. 1. While in prison, I had minimal knowledge of how my case was viewed anywhere but the Czech Republic. I was told by my attorney that I had a lot support from peers in the music industry, my hometown, fans, and of course my family. I cannot express how emotional it made me upon my release to read about even a fraction of the voices that were raised on my behalf. From legends in my music community, to fans across the world, and even people who were previously unaware of my existence but sympathized with my plight- I am truly humbled. I cannot thank you enough for your thoughts and prayers. I would especially like to thank the people of Richmond, VA, for standing by me. In the 48 hours I have been home, many people I have never met before have stopped me on the street, waved and smiled as I passed by, or said hello in a restaurant. All have said “We are glad you are home, Randy”. You all make me proud and grateful that I call Richmond home. 2. I would like state that I suffered no abuse, from either authorities or inmates, during my incarceration in Pankrác. I received no special treatment, and was in general population with everyone else- make no mistake, it was prison, not some celebrity rehab tv show. But I was treated fairly by the guards and kindly by my fellow inmates. People are dying of starvation all over the world. Men and women are losing their lives daily in the Middle East and other war torn regions. I had food, clothes, shelter, and no one was trying to kill me. I cannot complain over a short stay in prison while many people elsewhere fight to survive on a daily basis. 3. If it is deemed necessary for me to do so, I WILL return to Prague to stand trial. While I maintain my innocence 100%, and will do so steadfastly, I will NOT hide in the United States, safe from extradition and possible prosecution. As I write this, the family of a fan of my band suffers through the indescribably tragic loss of their child. They have to deal with constantly varying media reports about the circumstances surrounding his death. I am charged with maliciously causing severe bodily harm to this young man, resulting in his death. While I consider the charge leveled against me ludicrous and without qualification, my opinion makes no difference in this matter. The charge exists, and for the family of this young man, questions remain. The worst possible pain remains. It is fairly common knowledge amongst fans of my band that I once lost a child as well. I, unfortunately, am intimately familiar with what their pain is like. Therefore, I know all too well that in their time of grief, this family needs and deserves some real answers, not a media explosion followed by the accused killer of their son hiding like a coward thousands of miles away while they suffer. I am a man. I was raised to face my problems head on, not run from them like a petulant child. I hope that justice is done, and the family of Daniel N. will receive the closure they undoubtably need to facilitate healing. I feel VERY STRONGLY that as an adult, it would be both irresponsible and immoral for me not to return to Prague if I am summoned. This is not about bail money. This is about a young man who lost his life. I will act with honor, and I will fight to clear my good name in this matter. Thank you for reading this, and I wish you all peace.

I would just like to add: FUCK the U.S. Justice Dept, who were contacted by Czech authorities after the incident in 2010, saw the 'evidence' and thought there was no grounds for prosecution (duh) but NEVER MENTIONED IT TO THE BAND, LABEL, MANAGEMENT... Kil
