I'd still like to see an animated version of faust. Gotta sell the idea to those Japanese anime people, like the one's who made/are making Hellsing: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madhouse_(company)Someone from here should seriously write them and pursue it.

No anime. It has just gotten fucking ridiculous with the big-eyed, spiky haired crap. I used to be a big fan(in the 80s) but it has become so omnipresent that I actually hate it now. I could just drop another atom bomb on Japan for this shit.

Any news on this yet? Has it been greenlit? Is there a studio involved?

First of all, how long is the option? That production company can tie up the rights for like three years at a minimum, so that if anyone else comes along and makes a better offer, you're stuck! Too many comics have been optioned only to die in what Hollywood calls "development hell". Just ask Rob Liefeld. I wish you all the luck Joe of getting Gunfighters made, but remember that an option doesn't mean that it will get greenlit to be made for a theatrical release; they could opt to put it out on a straight to DVD. If they're talking about the budget looking to be approximately 60 million, then that looks like they want to make it live action. Keep us posted on the status of this one.

Perhaps if I keep pestering Joe in this thread once a month or so, he will let us know what is going on with GiH. The more I re-read the TPB adn teh "Original Sin" book, the more I cannot wait to see what they might do with the movie. Too bad that Jonah Hex thing did not break any box office records. If that had been a hit then GiH may have been on the fast track.
