Can anyone let me know if there are any real differences between the "leather" and reg "wraparound" versions of the trade???

I thought the 'Leather' version was just a special version of GiH #1? I know there were a couple different versions of the trade though but I thought they were just different covers or something like that. I will have to look through my collection because I am not sure how many different versions of the TPB I have.
But just to hazard a guess, I assume the only real difference between any "leather bound" cover version and any other cover is just the cover itself and the rarity.

i did have it at onetime,but im not sure!all i have in leather is FAUST/777and 777THE WRATH!

Broken Halos has the trades listed with the leather being $20.00 cheaper than the wraparound cover. I wanted to be sure before ordering it.

I do not think Broken Halos' site is even up anymore. I know that Darrel disappeared(medical reasons?) a while back and I am almost certain that the site is not fulfilling orders any more.
Thanks for the info' about the GiH trade though. It seems I have only the regular one that BH put out.

I do not think Broken Halos' site is even up anymore. I know that Darrel disappeared(medical reasons?) a while back and I am almost certain that the site is not fulfilling orders any more. I thought it was defunct too, but then I read Chaos Reaver's comment in the Faust 14 photocopy thread about an update from Darrel dated 3/16/10 saying that he's working on the last three issues. I just checked it out and it's there. It also says that they're still offering a free Dark Utopia 3 with orders over $20. So it seems there's still a pulse there. |
