Pretty fucking sweet. You can tell this person has a great understanding about lighting effects, as is shown by the reflective light (that blue color) which has its source from the left side of the image. There's also an atmospheric effect created by that blue-tinted (gradient?) filter in the top right corner. Gives a great sense of open air/space above. Also the texture in the sand and dust is handled really well and doesn't look amateurish (like someone clumsily used a texture brush in Photoshop). That subtle cloudy effect at the bottom looks great too. All-in-all you can tell this person knows what they're doing and knows something about color theory. They've got the job! Now get them to color the entire run of Faust: Love of the Damned!

WOW! very nice! the not so flying blood looks almost stationary,solid, like CARNAGE or venom (the characters), viscous, if you will.

I like the bottom half of the pic a lot, but personally I think the dark blue at the top and top right doesn't mesh well with the rest of the coloring on the bottom half. But the gladiator, tigers, dust, etc., are outstanding!

I kinda agree with RD on the blue, but this one is awesome. I really like this persons work.
