I got to hang out with Tim this past Saturday. We shot a new drawing and inking video. I've been working on it the past couple of days. Should have it up on YouTube soon. Might only put the drawing part up and then make a DVD of the entire video for Tim to sell at cons and whatnot. We'll see. It's over an hour.
Also saw/read Faust 15 (a photocopy version). I won't tell you how it ends. I'll just say I wouldn't call it a happy ending. All of the artwork is completely inked and done (for both 14 and 15). Tim was going to meet David the next day to finalize the script/dialogue. Then Tim just has to do the lettering and get someone to do the pre-press/production work. I also know what's on the covers for 14 and 15 (via Tim's description; I didn't actually see them). They sound pretty awesome (14 gets back to the shocking roots that Faust: LOTD is known for). I'll keep it a surprise. Actually, I think he said the cover for 14 is done, but he's still working on 15 and that he's thinking to bust out his airbrush to finish it off, because he doesn't like the way it's coming out with just the paint.
He said everything will definitely be done by the end of the year. So we'll be seeing them early 2012.

Thanks for the update... been waiting for the final issues for a long time, as I know everyone else here has. I'm sure it's going to be amazing.

I always imagined the Avatar stuff as a different take on the same concept, kinda like Joe Vigil's Faust: 2020 and the original Mark Beachum She-Faust.

You're obviously an idiot, because 14 and 15 are 90% done. I've seen them with my own eyes.

Its thundering towards the finish line like a heard of turtles.
It will be done this year, big question is how it will be released and what kind of reception from the shops. Maybe some brand new shiney tpb's. How awesome would a big ol hardback be
