is the painting in the background based from a Barry Smith piece? also noticed you dropped alot of the fancy stuff from the fire place. still lovin all the amazing detail everywhere in this piece....but what happened to the wolf. can't say i care for the inked version...sorry.

oh yeah ..there's the detail back in the wolf. love her stockings. had forgot the seam at the toes were they're put together...smoking. also love that you added the Griffin on the fireplace. i know that Faust is your big thing but Gothic Nights will always be what I love most of yours and this is kicking major ass....thanks
Final piece posted. Geez...where does Tim find the time to make stuff like this?! Whenever I see these highly detailed pieces I remember Tim telling me that when he's drawing he just gets really absorbed and focused on the space he's working in. In other words, if he's drawing a hand with a glove on it he'll just focus in on that glove and imagine all of the details in it, like the stitches, the curves, the texture, etc. And you can really see that in this piece. Wherever you focus you can see there was a high level of concentration within each space of the picture plane. Amazing.
