Oh yeah I love the maiden covers, not to mention all the those cool posters. This is John Jude Palencar. Kinda reminds me of Brom. Boris I know this painting maybe borderline beefcake but when I saw this as a kid I thought "that" is fucking cool. .

1.Odd Nerdrum. I saw Sleeping Twins in San Diego, and that was it for me. I got so exited when I saw the crates getting unloaded for his show in LA, I almost threw up. Totally wierd, pathetic yes. 2. Eric White. I was in Santa Monica and was reading Juxtapoz, read this cool article on him. Turned out he had a show in Santa Monica still on. He's not over Nerdrum, but I seem to be painting like him these days. Not as good of course. His canvas' have zero brush strokes. As a painter, it's very disturbing. I try and keep them down, but with his stuff there is almost no evidence of human contact. It looks all airbrushed or somfin. Twins is 97x98 inches or so....and Collusion:Knievel is 24x24

Good call Wulf; Witkin is so the original Dave Mckean.. although I love both of them. This is the first photo I ever saw of his.....He cut this dudes head in half, and opened it up all cool like. I say dude, but I mean cadaver. And how did we forget about the Gynoids? I'm so old I liked Sorayama when he was doing sexy robots.
