Those guys at the DH boards should be beaten bloody for their stupidity. That Woodstock kid could not debate his way out of being featured in bestiality-porn.

I ripped into him a couple years ago but have since decided the old proverb about honey catching flys really is the best policy. One negative "bitch" does not reflect bad on Tim but our retaliation could, I think your response was pretty level headed and pointed out some good points, but it was an old arguement. Our best arguement as was pointed out in the NY con post is to show Tim's best stuff, makes short shrift of the doubters. Which we have done once again the last few days. I would like to point out that thread has had 12,578 views. So I'm sure some of them are people who matter. I think the next largest view in the Conan forum in another thread is 6 or 8 thousand

We got to keep cool. Make them look like fools: post your best Timothy B. Vigil art. We don't want DHC locking/deleting the thread after all these years of petitioning.

The Corben work is for a tale about Conan's father. Heard this from the man himself.
Long time fan of Richards ever since I first read "Rowlf" back in '73 I'd seen his work in Creepy and Eerie before that but never made a name conection.

Richard' arc will relate the adventures of Conan's wayfaring grandfather, Connacht, as remembered by his grandson. It was Connacht's stories that first instilled in our hero the desire to see the world that lay beyond the Cimmerian borders.
With Tim Vigil covers, I hope.

Dark Horse's Conan ends with February's #50. Conan the Cimmerian #1, the first issue of an all new series will launch in April 2008.
Conan returns home, and meets a stranger who knows who he is, and tells him a story about his grandfather-a story about his grandfather that he'd known before, but now he hears a different side of it. Over the course of the seven issues, he encounters more people in the hills of Cimmeria, as he heads to and arrives at his own village. He gets into plenty of trouble, on his own, but in the meantime he learns things about his grandfather that he hadn't really considered before. This, mixed with the trouble he gets into in Cimmeria, with, of course, a woman, ultimately leads to his decision to go back into the world and continue his adventures.
The story was inspired by Howard's poem, "Cimmeria". REH stated in a letter that right before he became a mercenary, Conan returned for a brief time to his homeland.
