Joe's nickname is "Meatballs"?? no, that's an inside joke among the Rebel Studios elite convention cognoscenti. Did I just use "cognoscenti" in a sentence? did I spell it right and, if so, how gay does that make me? Did it have something to do with those Swedish people? And yes, you did sound pretty gay using that word (I don't even know what it means!). It was really gay. Like "fudge packing" gay.

So let's talk about the pic. The line piece was the girl, nude with stockings and boots, and the building and foliage. No sky, I was just told that the buyer wanted lightening bolts. The dress on the girl was an overlay, there are two versions of the cover, and the lettering was done by someone else and sent to us to color and overlay on the finished pic. Since this is a CD cover and it will be about 4"x4" Tim couldn't pack the pic with detail, it would just be a jumbled mess that small. By now you guys know I don't go for the one color look. So I wanted to make this as colorful as I could and still retain some mystery. The sky was originally purple/ blue with the lightening bolts. Then I added the streaming clouds going at the strange angle, I wanted then to be phantom like, coming across the sky. They were a deeper purple. Well I didn't like the same color for the sky and streamer clouds so I changed the back ground color to a blue/blue,green/purple/. That worked out good, it really looks like lightening blasting away. There are 70 some odd layers to the picture and I did a lot of overlays to achieve the blending effects on the building, ground and her skin. The dress was the last thing I did. It was a solid white then I lowered the opacity till you could see through it. I did an overlay of a very light purple to back light it and then burned in all the highlights to give it a light, wispy look. I then colored the Sonic Hallucinations and Robert Johda lettering and Tim colored the title lettering. Tim also stroked the lettering so it would have a thicker outline...and WHALA!

Yeah, I'm getting to like computer coloring. Not as much as using paint but there are definite advantages to using the PC. OH SHIT! I just saw the UK tat! OOOOOHHHHH SHIT! That was to fuckin' funny!
