So sweet, all the vegitation detail makes me wet. Are you sure it's not the hairy wolfman that's making you wet?? I like the action in this piece. Feels like a moment of action frozen in time. Why is Mona Lisa so scared? I guess that's supposed to be a look of surprise? As I always ask: was this just for fun or for a project? And what ever happened with those Divine Comedy or Paradise Lost looking prints? FYI: the two scans weren't put together so well here. You can see the shadow (i.e. - edge) from one of the scans running through the middle of the image. Here's a nice tutorial on how to stitch two scans togther. I swear by it. Just thought you might like the info: graphicssoft.about.com/od/photoshop/l/blstitchscan.htm

Looks good. To me the background of the trees on the top are to heavy taking away from the Werewolf. Aslo, the brancn next to his left leg looks like it would catch him in the air. I like the reaction of the person on the ground. I like the face of Mona.

This is a compositional fucking masterpiece in my opinion. Jai, it does feel like a moment of action frozen in time, and I think that's because everything is in perfect harmony. Man-Wolf is going to clear the branch, and Mona is grounded perfectly to receive the hit.
Will this get inked?

it is a moment of action in time ! and the woods are to be natural and consuming to the balance. I can see some repetitive direction that I have done before and it worries me alittle. but that is my style showing and I have to except some of it or fight it continually.
And if the wolf hits the branch so what. Art at times depicts to much perfection. Hope my spelling is ok ,as all you who got the drawing book should know ..alot gets by me.

I remember you told me once that some illustrators try to get too realistic and perfect, but that comic books should be exaggerated and dynamic. It definitely is a fine line. But I think you always find a good balance. As far as saying it looks like a moment of action frozen in time, I know that seems like an obvious statement or observation, but what I mean is that it's not static. It's very dynamic. All of the figures have energy, which gives the piece a lot of energy. PS - I see what you're saying about the vegetation and repetition. But yeah, it is your style.

Nice piece Tim. Is this for a book or just a pin up? You gonna ink it, or color it?

this is an incedable piece. it is full of detail, your eyes start on mona and flow entirerly around to the dead horse. the action doesnt seem static, jai was certianly right about that. it is refreshing to look at a lot of tims work, and know that it doesnt look stiff.
