What strikes me the mot about this image is the coloring. Tim, usually goes for the darks. The clouded lay out looks fluffy and adds depth to the work. No sure if those wings ould work, but does it matter? It does look cool though. I don't care for the hat it makes her look like she has a dickhead and takes away from any beauty she may have.
Good work Tim keep posting your works!

I like the colors on this piece. Very bright and hallucenogenic. The wings give the impression of movement; as if the wings are flapping (I know that probably wasn't intentional, but that's how it looks). I agree with "phqu" on the "hat". It seems much too rounded. I think a crown or tiara or something like that would work much better; that way you could see her long, flowing, yellow hair as well.
I notice this is a diversion from the work we've seen so far for this series. Are they all going to eventually be painted??

the biblical description of the angels had them with 6 wings and a face that can resemble a lions (maybe when angry?), or covered by a reflective mask or helmet. Ezekiel gets to see them up close and is practically wetting himself
so, damn fine research Tim. I like the whole piece, just curious if that is the moon behind her, or the golden crystal helm that they wear.

that cool. reminds me of some of the old PSYCH LP cover from the late 60's and early 70's.

I don't know. For me this just doesn't work. I don't think the colors enhance the pencils. It just doesn't seem up to par with the other work in this series. Things look a little flat to me like the planets and the wings. The colors seem to take away from the seriousness and intensity that the other works have. (IMHO) peace WULF

Did Tim tell you this?? Now that you mention it, I can in fact see that this is her halo and not a "helmet". Interesting. Tim: you might want to try fixing that halo to look like a more traditional looking halo (i.e. - a ring), because as it is now it does look like she's wearing a helmet. Thats her halo behind her head and its not a hat its the hood of her robe/garment.

The colors really do jump out at me on this one. The mood is very somber.

Really great coloring on this version, almost everything is improved and really works now. The wings colors in the first piece were too stark and plain. The skin tone is much more natural. The only thing I feel is out of place is the yellow streak, it doesnt fit the rest of the color scheme, it needs more striation.
This reminds me of Barry Smith's "Fate Sowing the Stars"

This works much better for me now. The colors seem richer and more fitting to the piece. The yellow band is the only thing I see that might need a little something. I would add a little variation to it like the others. Besides that I think this is a sweet piece.

The muted colors give the piece a different feel; perhaps more realistic and less "psychedelic". I'm still not sure that halo works. It still looks too much like a dome on the top of her head. And how did Tim create two more versions of this so quickly? Was the first watercolor and acrylics and then it was scanned and the two later versions were done in Photoshop?

yes most edits were done in photoshop but there was some retouching of the original. the finished pic is more to the oringinal without the intense color saturations.
