I went to go see The Bronx play live last night and it was an awesome show! I've been a big fan of this group since their debut album was released and have been wanting to see them live for a while now. I missed them the last time around and I wasn't going to miss them again. Last night was the first stop on their national tour. They'll be playing shows until mid-February. If you have the means, I highly recommend going to check these guys out. They will not disappoint. Check the Shows section of their website to see if they'll be coming around your neck of the woods. Sounds a little too mean and violent.

Here's a couple of full length tracks everyone can check out. "Stop The Bleeding" kicks serious ass. www.myspace.com/thebronx

It DOES sound like I was hating them for having a myspace proflie... really I was just digging on em for being Hardcore, then honestly asking if anyone here had a myspace, but I did it in "myspace speak" so it was pretty harsh sounding... I like fast technical metal and rock. They don't suck at all, I just thought their vocal was hardcore-esque surrounded by rock instrumentals, and it threw me a bit.

I see what you're saying now.
No, The Bronx are definitely not metal. They're a punk/hardcore band. But like I've said before (on the Broken Halos site once), this isn't some pansy-ass Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Blink 182 style bullshit. These guys rock.

As far as punk goes they're about my favorite without going old school.

Do you like strung out? As far as punk goes they're about my favorite without going old school. I heard some tracks right now. Gotta say in all honesty that's exactly what I don't like. Don't know about their other albums but from what I heard from their latest it sounds like "emocore" (i.e. harmonizing vocals). Not my bag. Punk/hardcore should be aggressive, which is what alot of these so-called "new punk" groups have failed to realize. That's why I like The Bronx. They got it right. No "emotional" style singing and they can get downright agressive at times.

I have "Designs for Automotion" and a couple of others. I think "Design" is their best album by far. Great stuff. I have them right here on my iPod. I'm listening to Typecast Modulater right now. Kick ass.

If Immortal added P-diddy vocals, I'd still give it a listen after i was through crying... Did you like older misfits? I still think they are hilarious. ...(edit) snapcase is good, throwdown is simple and pretty good when you skip the lyrical content
