Folks, Long-time, no post. I have been here reading though, trust me. Tony said that I should come on and let you guys know that my first published sequentials are available now. Nothing big, self-published, but a slightly big thing for me. The stuff is in color and doesn't look bad if the preview copy I saw is any indication. I am the inker on Kord & Harley in Volume 1 and the inker on six of the nine pages of Hunter & Prey in Volume 2. I am also the Assistant Editor on both Volumes. Anyways, there are online previews available for the stories and the books are available for purchase at the webstore. www.mortalworldentertainment.netThanks for checking it out if you choose to! ~Ed!

Yeah, another BH/Rebel veteran is making his mark! We gotta support him. I ordered two of each. I'll vouch for BW, I've recommended him for jobs I couldn't do -even though they didn't pan out- and I'll do it again. Anybody on here who has something they'd like to do, but thinks they can't... fuck that. You just do it. You work your ass off. BW, me, hell, even Jai finally got something out!

Sweet news. Those books actually look pretty interesting. I'll have to pick some up. Where are you guys printing this through? And I don't see the books on the webstore. What's up with that?

Oh, I see: those stories you inked are part of a "compendium". Isn't Brenner expensive? You guys ever consider Comixpress?

Sorry Jai, forgot your reply from before for a minute there. We were supposed to come out through 01Comics but they were pretty tardy in their efforts so the guy that's running things started looking around. Not sure whom all he contacted but he says he got a decent deal from Brenner. I wasn't part of that decision. I think PoD's are a great thing for the independent publishers though. Gots0 - Many thanks man. I really do appreciate that. smile4chaos - Thanks! Many thanks also should you decide to buy the books. We're trying to get some out there. Also, in case you (or anyone else) gets 'em, I wanted you to know - the guy who drew the short for Kord & Harley is Mark Henry. He also slated as the artist for Issues #1 and 2. I've already finished #1 and I have pages 1 through 13 done of the 15 pages I've been given. Once we get to #3, we have a new artist. Slightly different styles but not a drastic, jarring change. This new guy is good though. No slight to Mark but I'm really digging on this new guy's pencils. His name is Jonathan Rector. We've got him doing the covers for all of them even back to #1. I'll post some of the cover stuff once I get it done. Thanks again everyone.

As I said, I'm posting the cover inks for Kord & Harley #1. This is the penciler I was talking about, Jonathan 'JAR' Rector. Yeah, his stuff does look like Dave Finch. After I IM'd with him, I better understand why. He used to live close to Finch in Canada and Dave helped to try and teach him. Pencils My Inks I'll post the cover inks to #2 at a later date.

jainitai - Thanks for looking! We appreciate it!
gots0 - Thanks! 'Preciate that. ;D
DAL - Be glad to try. Here's what I'd say was the gist of this book. Kord is the large rock-like fella. Harley is the chameleon-looking guy. Kord is a golem and Harley is...well, Harley is a chameleon/man thing. Not too sure of his origins yet. Anyway, they work with/for two other characters in the book - Father Myrick and Sister Day. Apparently, some sort of Catholic-like organization who deal with supernatural occurrences. During this first issue, Father Myrick comes into contact with a police detective named Carlson and his partner Bevens. These are all of the characters on the first cover. In the first book, they find that they are dealing with a demon (?) that is the manifestation of Gluttony of the Seven Deadly Sins. Rapidly bloating and exploding humans ensue. Sound like fun? ;D
