yeah being aittle slow as usual..money tight and all...hope it will see print soon...but it looks cool So wait a second...#14 is done, but you just don't have the money to print it?! Why don't you ask all of us here to pitch in and we'll get it printed! Or you could go the better route and just have it printed through Comixpress, but after checking on that option, they won't print "pornographic" material, so you'd probably be SOL. But I think you said before that you didn't want to use them and that you wanted to keep the same printer. What's the lowest possible print run that you can do with the printer you use? You could probably get away with doing an ultra-limited edition run on it, like 500 books or so. But I know most printers have a minimum of around 1500 books. Anyway, if you're not going to publish it any time soon, could you bring it to the Big Apple Con so I can salivate on it? ;D

Why not just release #14 and #15 digitally? A lot of small publishers, both Comic and Magazine wise, who don't have the capital to publish in traditional format, have turned to Digital releases to keep their content in the public eye. While certainly it might make it hard to read in even the most private of places, ;-) the initial setup and distribution wouldn't take much to accomplish it. An example to look at: Draculina #51, which is here. The magazine is scanned in and converted to a password protected PDF, and the password is sent to view the magazine once it has been paid for and downloaded through Paypal. Using Adobe Acrobat Pro 7 or higher, you can set parameters that lock out printing of the file, and redistribution without proper passwords. I'd be happy to help assist or offer guidance if this route was to be taken. In any event, whatever format, I look forward to #14 and #15.

I think Tim's way too old school to even consider going digital. The man doesn't even have a Paypal account! *drum fill* (insert canned laughter). Thank you, I'll be here all week.

I'm sure some one industrious on the board could help make this happen. Joe has a paypal account ( I bought Original Sin through this), and I'd gladly send a copy of my Acrobat Pro or do the work, ( and still pay for my Digital copies).
Just a thought....

With the recent policy changes for small publishers and an increase of the minimum dollar amount, things are tough. As much as we all love Faust, the trend over the past decade has been that while people that read Faust want to see it finished, these people arent' really into comics anymore. So with the large gaps in publication, they are very apt to miss the Diamonds Preview window, meaning that orders won't hit the minimum. I'm not saying that won't happen, but I would think Faust is right there on the cusp. Very scary, but a $4 comic needs just under 1600 copies to make the minimum requirement. What was the print run of Faust 12? Somewhere in the 1200 - 1500 copy range, right?

Well if money is tight, why don't we (die hard fans...well, the one's that have money ) pitch in and get it printed? It might not be for profit (well, most likely definitely not for profit), but at least it would be printed and the die hard fans would be satisfied. Or as mtj777 said, why not go digital with it now and then eventually, when times are better, print it? Or even better, the money made from the digital version could be used to print the the hard copy version. I JUST WANT ME SOME FAUST!
