"From my understanding Faust 14 is completely finished. It's 15 that Tim is currently working on. His plan is to have 15 done before printing and releasing 14. I've been trying to get Tim to give us a sneak peek of 14 for the past 4 years, so good luck with that." This is all true. I've never mentioned this until now, but Tim gave me a full size, color, 11 x 17 photocopy of the original art for issue #14 back in 2006. My understanding is, it's a matter of completing issue #15, wrapping up the whole series and releasing both books. So, can you post it up. I think everybody need a fix after waiting so long for issue 14.

We all are awaiting for Faust 14 and 15 to come out, but it looks like right now, Tim has his hands full illustrating Frank Frazetta's character-based comics.

why did Quinn and Vigil veer off the main title to do spinoffs (The Wrath 777, Singah's Talons...) instead of first finishing Love Of The Damned? This has probably been answered before so feel free to just point me to the thread...

Tim wanted to show that he could work at a pace that no one believed he could: monthly/bimonthly. And I'm sure Billy threw a good amount of money at them. Book of M did win a Bram Stoker award, so that was a good move, but one could argue that time spent on those projects may have delayed LOTD and lead us to this point.

does anyone have a scan of anything on faust 14? I'm sure Tim does! But seriously, it would be up to Tim to post something. Otherwise we'd kind of be a-holes for posting images from it without his permission. Oh and to answer your question, just today I got my copy of Faust 14! So yeah, I have stuff I could share, but I won't unless Tim gives the okay.

Like most of you guys, I have been waiting for the conclusion to Faust for many years. When I started reading the series I was a kid and can remember having to hide the issues between other comics when my mom took me to a comic store. The guy that owned the store was always cool and let me buy them without saying anything. I have been a Tim Vigil fan ever since and when he was at the comic convention in Pittsburgh 2 or 3 years ago (actually the first one I had ever been to even though I have read comics for years) I felt like I was meeting a rock star. It was so great to watch him drawing a picture for me. Anyway... don't have much point here... I have been lurking around this forum for a while... checking every so often to find out if there was any news on Faust. Just felt like registering finally and saying "hi" and that I, too, am waiting for the last couple issues. If Tim happens to be reading this... thanks for all the great pictures over the years.

Welcome, Mr. Bonz. Too bad you just missed the "boat" for getting a photocopy of the Faust 14 pages. Still lots of questions that need to be answered, though. Hopefully we'll see the end of the series before we all die.

Thanks guys. I saw there was a thread about a photocopy version but I didn't want to read it because it said there were spoilers. I guess somebody got them directly from Tim? Sounds pretty cool. I hope someday there is a big hard-bound book of Faust 1-15 when it is finished. That's the book I have been dreaming of for a long time.

Yeah But I bought faust from the begining and the first 4 or 5 issues WERE bi-monthly. Normaly Artists(not just graphic artsts) take longer and longer between projects because they hone and refine their craft. The more they learn and demand from themselves which takes longer Plus they have to follow their muse. Tim might have gotten sick of drawing faust. To use and example in another medium, Peter Gabriel put out 2 great albums in two years in the late 70's and now he takes 7-9 years between albums.Tim doesn't owe us anything but i know it definitely is frustrating waiting. I gave up torturing myself and waiting a long time ago. When and if they come out; BONUS! but no more torturing myself waiting. there's always other good comics, movies, books etc. why did Quinn and Vigil veer off the main title to do spinoffs (The Wrath 777, Singah's Talons...) instead of first finishing Love Of The Damned? Tim teased me with the Faust 15 pages this fall, kept telling me he had them with them and I could look, but then said that I shouldn't look, with a devilish look on his face.
So I didnt, figured it would be more interesting to see the finished product with everything being fresh to me.
