Tim: thanks for the update! God, it's been what, 4 or 5 years since #13 was printed? Feels like forever. I'll never forget the first time I saw the cover of #3 back in like '92 or '93 and I was initiated into the world of Faust. It's been a fun ride and I can't wait to see how it all gets wrapped up. Looking forward to a nice limited edition hardcover collectors edition of the entire series, too! ;^) And just think: you will have finished it before the end of the world in 2012! Btw: what prompted you to have someone assist with the inks? I always thought you didn't want other people touching it (Faust: LOTD).
PD: so you didn't see the photocopy version of #14?

Now that I think about it, I do remember see his name in some of the books (it's been awhile since I've looked at one). So do you have the covers already planned/designed and it's just a matter of painting them? Or are you working from scratch? Are you digitally coloring them or doing old school paint and brush? And what's the release plan? Both 14 and 15 at the same time? Or a month in between issues? And has David already written all of the dialog? Who's doing the lettering? Lots of question, I know. I'm probably one of the few remaining who's interested in all the details!

comic monsters!!!why dont you let your fans help by putting back adds on there books.it would be cool to see faust adds on indy books.kinda like a full circle thing.you started the indy revolution, why not really show support for the faust ending!give people a free book if they do a add,ild love to put adds on some of our stuff...im sure a shit load of self publishers would be cool with it,hell if it wasnt for faust half of us wouldnt be publishing now!faust is the catalist for the b/w bloodgushing indy book!just a thought.

Thxglibbityglob pretty much nailed 'em all. Killju: the thing is with ads on indie books...well, they're indie books! How many people would really see them? Sounds like you just want a free copy of Faust 14 and 15!

Like the Rebel Editions of 1-5 or 6? I was never a huge fan of those re-done covers. The original paintings were much more solid. Are you using both brush and airbrush? I meant who is doing the lettering? Have you been doing it in Photoshop the past couple of issues? And are there any plans to collect the whole series with prelim sketches, pin ups, covers, etc? Or would it be crazy expensive to produce? Do you even have all of the original artwork to be able to scan and produce something like that? PS - Killju: yeah, and you're one of only about 15 people that own a copy of Eternal Day! Haha!
