Before Jack the Lantern was ever born, there was a another story that started it all for Castle Rain: Jestercrow. It's a story that mixes Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner and the X-men.
The Jestercrow TPB is going to be released this summer. This b&w 3-issue mini-series featured the work of Stephen ( JSA) Sadowski and Scott ( Jack the Lantern ) Lee. As a bonus, we're adding five new pages, which TIM VIGIL will be providing the pencils. Tony (UK) Bledsoe will be the inker.
At the same time we're going to release alongside of the TPB, a new Jestercrow one-shot. Ryan ( Lucifer Fawkes) Sergeant will be Illustrating this book.

Originally posted on the Castle Rain Forums.
Due to a heavy workload, we regret to announce that Tim Vigil will not be able pencil the new five pages for the Jestercrow TPB. Instead, Ryan Sergeant, who is doing some great work on the Jestercrow one-shot, will now be illustrating those pages.
If you specially ordered this book just for the Vigil pages, please inform your store retailer to delete it. There is still time for them to do this. If not, we will be making it returnable to all stores.
Again, I apologize for this inconvenience.

As noted in the topic, we will now be renaming and adding the Jestercrow: the Hunt book to the Jestercrow TPB. We will only be increasing the cost of the book by one dollar ($ 12.95) for all 120 pages. The book has also been re-solicited for a December release. I will posting the new pages from the book, which were Illustrated by Ryan Sergeant, in a few days, so check them out at the Web-site in the preview section. Again, many apologies for the delay, but I promise you it will be worth the wait.

Today marks the release date for the Jestercrow TPB, and for those who purchased it, I wanted apologize for the 8-10 typo-o's in the book. These mistakes were originally corrected by yours truly, but unfortunately the printer missed inserting them into the book when it came to press time. I know these things happen, but it was real pisser because they really did a great job with everything else. Even in my after-word where I explain that this was the "corrected version", there was a type-o in the first sentence. Oh, well. Life goes on, and I'll just have to make the corrections with the second printing. So, I hope you enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Cheers!
