Well, it's been awhile since I announced that Jack the Lantern was optioned late last year, and I've kept everybody somewhat in the dark as to any new developments on the project. And It wasn't because I was told to keep things "hush, hush", but more of I wanted have something substantial to report.
That said, I'm here to deliver some recent news concerning the film. As of this past week, Larry Koch (co-produce/ screen-writer) has been working steady on the screenplay for the past 6-months, and has completed a good part of the first draft. I personally received the first 25-pages of the script and was extremely impressed with Larry's adaption of the series. So far, he's crafted a high impact story with a fluidity of dialogue that compliments and rounds out the characters very quickly; unlike some movie's where they stunt the character's growth.
So, for the first part, I would give two-big thumbs up from the creator! I should receiving another batch of pages shortly, so I'll let you know how that turns out.
Okay, so since we've got a screenplay in development, and I've had my producers ask me which actors I'd like to see in the movie, I'm here to ask you, the fans, who should play the main characters from the series: Jack Corby, Frank Casper, Lisa Fraser, Jadugar, Roman, London Dirk and Pavol Malkov.
I want to hear your choices, so please, don't be shy. I will be passing this list off to my producers.
