I just saw this on amazon and didn't know anything about it before. I guess I must have missed this thread. This look really cool. Did anybody get any of the books? Are they as cool as they look. Any info is appreciated 'cause I don't know anything about this company or Thorin's writing.

I don't know...I tried to read some of that Thorin guys quotes and take him seriously but I can't. I will buy almost anything that features Vigil artwork but this sort of moronic 'Macho-yet emo', 'I shot 8 motherfuckers on my way to the gym today...then reflected on the pain I felt' bullshit reads no better than goth-poetry to me.

lol, So his writing is basically all that take no shit from no courter given macho bullshit that works in video games but don't work in real life unless you want to be on death row huh. That's a shame I hoped it might go a little deeper. It looks like all the Vigil art was from the t-shirts.
I tried to order it from Barnes and Nobles so i could take it back if it wasn't my thing but they can't even order it.

i bought the book!some of the writing was very macho killem all shit but i had bought it for the artwork only!!!Vigil and Beck are a good pair!ild like to see Beck do Faust!just a thought!!!
