I just bought 4 tickets this Sunday to Nine Inch Nails' show in Oakland on Friday, September 5th. Got some great seats on the lower level facing the stage. I've never seen them live before, but if it's anything like their live DVD "Beside You In Time," this is gonna be one bad ass show.
It should be a great show. I've seen them tons of times, and they always but on a hell of a show. I miss the old days of seeing them in small clubs, but they do have an excellent stage show. I saw them for the first time back in 90 when they opened for Jesus And Mary Chain.
Comes a time when you gotta let the monster inside you let him come on out come on out and play.
Holy fucking shit! That was one of the best concerts I have ever been to in my life! I've never seen anything like it. The light show they put on with their new LED screens was fucking amazing. I was ready to have a seizure in that motherfucker! No bullshit. If you've seen their DVD "Beside You In Time," this current show is 100x better than that. It doesn't even compare. NIN's Lights In The Sky tour is THE show to see this year. Hell, of ANY year for that matter. It was that good. Here is the setlist:

They'll be hitting stateside again beginning Oct. 23rd. I can't stress enough how fucking bad ass this show was. If they're heading your way you should make every effort to see this show. I'm planning on going again December 12th in Sacramento. It's a little road trip but it's worth it for sure.
