Once you have the CD made you can just pop it into your PC, copy the file onto the hard drive, and then convert it to mp3. The mp3 file is more compact and will be easier to send via email. That's what you want to do, right? I have some software that will convert from one audio file format to another pretty effortlessly if you need it. Another way you can do this is probably just send the raw .wav file from the CD you make via an online file transfer application. A good one is www.yousendit.com. There are others as well.

what if i just loaded them into my iTunes program and then back to cd. would that convert then to MP3's ? Well after you have the songs on iTunes you can convert them into MP3 format or you can set it so that they import in MP3 format directly. Just open iTunes, go to "Preferences" (not sure what tab it's under on a PC), then from there go to "General" and you should find "import settings" there. Set it to MP3 format (there are more advanced settings you can do here too, but the default setting usually works fine). Now when you insert your CD iTunes will automatically import them in MP3 format. After you make the changes in your preferences settings you can also right click on the songs in your iTunes library and there's an option to "create MP3 version". Just click that and iTunes will convert the file into MP3 format for you. You can then check the file afterwards (where ever you have it saved on your hard drive; it's usually in the iTunes folder) to make sure it's in MP3 format. Of course the easiest way to do this is just to burn the guy a CD and mail it to him!

What format does it save it in? If it is in a .wav format, then yeah, RD is right: just send the file via You Send It. It really is easier than having to convert stuff, burn stuff, send stuff, etc.
