It's good, but nothing we really haven't seen before, i.e. - the ol' hero standing on top of a pile of advancing monsters/demons/bad guys and slashing them up. I still envy Tim's back anatomy. What's this for anyway?

It's still something to behold. But in terms of the individuality of the image, that's what I was also saying: this particular pose and scene has an almost generic/expected formula, which takes away from its "wow factor". I'm not saying there's not energy and detail in it. I'm just saying it's like something I've already seen before.

PS - Looking at naked ladies can get boring too. That's why no one has just one porno that they watch over and over. You want to see different ladies, different poses, different environments, different themes, etc. Just say'in. ;D

The problem with expecting something 'new'(in the sense you seem to be expecting such here) in action-oriented scenes is that even the best artists run out of ways to kill people. Look at Mike Zeck's stuff since his original Punisher artwork and Secret Wars art. Anything "new"? Nope. Not a damned thing. But brilliant artwork.
Some artists like Sienkewicz and Steranko give you something "new" every once in a while but it isn't always something you would want to hang on the wall or use as a cover on a comic book and their output is pretty ...slow-in-coming.
Just seems that this is a kind of kind of Like looking at Tim's art and complaining "It's not in color." or "What? No Avatar-like 3D effects?".
