I did the drawing for Tomo and he gave it to Brian Keene the author of The Rising, a great fucking book. This was a scene from it. Now it's all in color!!!  |

Damn, that was one of the most shocking drawings ever, but now its fucking ghastly. Your a sick man Joe...sick sick sick  The clouds and moon really punch the mood on this piece. Their eyes are riveting, you can feel the evil behind them. Really a beautiful job. |

As usual your color palate is insane, but somehow you make all these wild colors work. I like the attention to little details too, like the moonlight shining on her wisps of hair and the reflective blue light on the side of the baby's head. Good stuff.

Is this an older piece? I think I remember seeing the inked version of this a couple years back.

Yeah I did this a couple of years ago but it was never inked. I ink in the computer now and then color.

Joe that is cool. Looks great in color. I'd love to have a full size poster of this. Is it possible to have black light posters printed ? I'm sure it would be expensive but that would be to cool.  |

I need to stop slacking and hit this section more often. I fucking love the way you colored this. The pencil version is one of the prizes of my collection. I think this would make a kick ass poster, and I'm sure a ton of Keene fans would buy one.
