This is awesome. What size is the original? And are you using a brush at all Joe, or do you use technical pens, the amount of detail you put into all the background always astounds me.

It looks like Joe used pencils, India ink, maybe technical pens for the fine details, and Photoshop for the grey tones as well as to make the black crisper. Overall, I agree, this is awesome!

Hey Guys, This was done on 3 14"x17" pages of Bristol board. I don't ink by hand anymore I computer enhance it to look like ink. It took me a while to learn, by trail and error, but I think I have it down pretty well now. I've been showing people how to do it for a couple of years now. I, personally, don't ink by hand because I never thought I was that good with a brush. Plus this is WAY faster.
