JACK 0 10th Anniversary book

Wow. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted any thing new around here. That's what happens when you have a new baby and lose touch just trying to keep up with life, let alone writing and releasing new material.

That said I’m super excited to announce our first book of the year: JACK # 0 10th anniversary book! That's right! Jack the Lantern turned ten this year, and there’s no other way that I’d like to celebrate it than releasing his fist appearance / story, albeit with some cool changes, during
Halloween.

The book will feature 12-redrawn pages! I've asked to TIM VIGIL to render these for me Why am I doing this? For me the majority of the story in the second arc of this issue always felt like it needed more depth and detail to express the tone of the story that I envisioned, and this gave me another shot at it.

Of course as another bonus the book will only sell for $1.00! Yes! $1.00!

Jack Corby was at the bottom of the gutter looking straight up until he's presented with a special treatment to eradicate all his suffering.

Upon acceptance, Jack is transformed into a host for an otherworldly demon: Argotakar, and thrust into a secret war between the magical allies of humanity and shadowy forces bent on our annihilation. If that wasn't enough, Jack's new abilities' force him to confront his own inner demons!

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, Tim Vigil will not be redrawing any new pages for the 10th anniversary JACK # 0 issue. Replacing him will be Andrew Mangum; an extremely talented artist in his own right. Andrew brings a wealth of experience; having worked for DC, Zenescope, Digital Webbing and various indie companies. If you’re already familiar with Andrew’s work then I don’t have to tell you’re in for a great treat! Also the redrawn pages will now be increased from 10-to-14 redrawn pages! Diamond Dist. will be informing retailers of the artist change this week.

Due to simple bad luck , we were not able to release JACK # 0 anniversary book out before Halloween. The official date is now November 13th!

The finished book looks great and also features a re-colored cover by colorist extraordinaire, Nei Ruffino!
