Just finished watching Hostel right now. What a pile of horsecrap. This had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. This film had no reason to be made. Don't believe the hype, this film IS NOT scary at all. It didn't even make me wince (and this DVD release is supposed to be "unrated" which means added scenes of brutality. Yeah right). I don't regret renting it, because no matter what I just had to see what the fuss was about. My friend was going to sell me a copy for 10 bucks, but after this I'm not going to get it. Not worth it even at that price and I'm never going to see it again so why bother. Not even the boobies made it worth watching?? |

This was an epic film done in an artful and delicate fashion. But it wasn't the lack of boobies, but more about the quality. Oh shit, I thought this was the Toxic Avenger forum.
What's with the yellow juice from the retinal cord? Izzat real?

somebody loaned me a boot of hostel 2 last night. must say the Lady Bethany like scene was some twisted shit even for me. the John Wayne Bobbitt scene was pretty fucked up also. will be buying this when it hits DVD just for those 2 parts.

I thought the 2nd one was boring also... there was nothing that sick, and the shocking ending was nothing special.. I dont think i would buy either in this series
