I just realized Hoffman's Keys (?) track 7 and Rosetta Stoned (?) track 8 are two different tracks! When I listened to it originally I thought it was one song, but today I noticed the track number change. What a frigg'in jip! Track 7 is just a short drone of sound with a nurse talking to a doctor. So with track 6, 7 and 11 being short "filler" type tracks, there are really only 8 "real" songs. Maybe that's why they made the CD so cheap. Bullocks! Track 7 "Lost Keys (Blame Hoffman)" is nessesary, it is the intro to Track 8 Resetta Stoned. The nurse is talking to the doctor about this patient that came in. The doctor then tries to talk to the patient. Track 8 and when the patient starts telling his story. If you don't own Aenema or Lateralus, shoot yourself or better yet, go buy them. Of you could rip them off and just download it like everyone else. Me personally, I download a virtual SHITLOAD of music, but I also buy what I like and there are certain bands that I always buy their cds. Danzig, Korn, Metallica, APC and Tool. Nine times out of ten, I'll buy their cds and they sit on the shelf at home. Reason is I don't keep original cds in my truck, only copies, and two I usually have the copies made long before the retail cd comes out. And it keeps the cds in good condition. The degredation of disc media has been well documented. So why put your originals in harms way. Buy it, rip it, make a copy and store the original. Lateralus is probably my 2nd all-time favorite cd ever from any band. 1st being Led Zeppelin's forth album. Lateralus is very personal to me because I was on a self searching journey at the time I really got to sit down and absorb it. It litterally change my outlook on a lot of things in life.

That's my point: it sounds like the same song (i.e. - one song), so why not just make that one frigg'in track?! Why jip the consumer/fan by making it a seperate track? BTW: anyone know where I could score the lyrics to this new album?? PS - I know about the joys of "discovering" music online, but I've just been too lazy or too disinterested to bother downloading/searching for anything.

Thanks for the officially unofficial lyrics created in the fertile imaginations of fans! Most of those are spot on because some people removed all the music and left just the vocals ala ProTools or whatever. I'm not sure why on some of those lyrics he still left them as uncertain, if you listen to the song, it's pretty clear (e.g. "I own the T.V.?" It's obvious he's saying "Eye on the T.V.", etc.). It's also clear that you are just a complaining little biatch!

The group usually doesn't release the lyrics for a new album for quite a while. Here are the official lyrics for past albums: www.toolband.com/album/index.html

I was just talking to Maynard, and he said it was pie on the TV. A television is the perfect temperature to properly cool a pie if you do not have a window sill, four degrees drop in temp for every hour. James doesn't even have a TV.

Holy shit that was hilarious! I love how Maynard kept on singing with the guy underneath him. Ha ha! Good find, LWF. My feeling is that this wasn't planned.
