Well I've been missing for quite some time. A lot had to do with the lose of my car about a year ago, and injuries that followed at work. Last year was a really long ardious year for me with lots of ups, and quite a few downs. I am now settled into a new home, with everything working out as it should, I believe.
A good portion of what I have been doing the past few months has to do with the movie The Freedom Writers. As I am one. I have been part of this since my sophmore year in high school, when I entered the class the movie is about, it goes over the first two years of high school, only focusing on one singular class even though there were a 150 of us. I have been involved in everything we have done, publishing the book, a trip as amasadors overseas, and forming a few seperate non and for-profit organizations. We now write teaching curriculums, and pefrom workshops with "at-risk" children and teachers trying to get them to connect better with thier students.
I had no idea which section to put this in. But I figured since I am talking about the movie I would put it here.
One if any of you have seen the movie let me know what you think. And if you get the chance or the urge go see it. It'd help me out in a round about way.
and lastly, what has been going on around here? I hope all is well. I see Dwight has a few books out. The ne Jack book is scheduled to come out soon. and the vigil saga books that i will have to pick up.
anything else, i'll be back to check on soon. again hope everyone is cool.

Good to see you around again, s4c. So that movie is about the exact same class that you were in? Or do you mean the same program in general? I'm not really familiar with it (the movie or the program).

Little hard to explain, but Erin had all 6 classes of kids, and she taught 150 of us all together, but they took people that were in different periods, and made composite characters and just concentrated on one particular class in the film. Little hard to make a movie with 150 characters, so it goes a little on dramatic effect, and part not having to pay out too much money for our life stories.

Jain, hows your book coming along? And thanks Gots. The second issue is in the works. Did you see the cover for it in the art section? But yeah, it's moving slowly. Not sure when it will be done since I'm working two part-time jobs and going to school full time. Thanks for asking. Do you know if that guy ever reviewed it on that website you told me about?

Yeah it was on a website for a local store named pulp fiction. It was a while back, I'll find the web-page and see if the review is still up, or if I can can get anthony to send me a copy of the review.
Sorry to hear about your schedule being so hectic, keep us up on it though. I havent seen the cover yet, but thats where i'll head now.
