Remember long ago when I made a comic book called Eternal Day? Well, in the long months of silence about it, we've actually still been working on the second issue. I finished all of the artwork. Right now the writer is finishing up the words and then we've got this gal doing the lettering. I think we may even see it within the next couple of months! Woohoo! Just to keep everyone fired up for it, here's a sketch I did for a cover idea for Eternal Day #3: Update (6.3.08): Just finally started inking this. Hopefully I'll actually finish it. Here's a little tease:

why does the creature have a tiny arm? \ Hah! Yeah, this wasn't finished, but he's supposed to have a bunch of arms and legs. Eventually there will be more of them added. And thanks for the comments, guys. I'll share some pages from the second book once more are lettered.

so it will have a bunch of tiny arms? Well, some tiny (like Tyrannosaurus Rex arms) and some large. He's a freak of nature. Actually the back story is that he was once a demigod in the heavenly planets, but was cursed by another god to become a hideous, deformed demon because he had raped that god's wife.

Where can I take a look at some samples from this "Eternal Day" and perhaps buy the first issue? The artwork/cover idea above looks very nice but I am wondering...if that tiny arm is the arm/hand he uses to masturbate then this means he must have a tiny penis as well. How does he get that hot chick to ride him when he has a tiny penis?
J/k about the 'tiny' stuff BTW.

Where can I take a look at some samples from this "Eternal Day" and perhaps buy the first issue? Why on the Eternal Day MySpace page, of course! www.myspace.com/theeternaldayCheck in the "pics" section, but you'll have to log into your MySpace account first and if you don't have a MySpace account, then you're the last person on planet earth to not have one! We used to have an Eternal Day website, but I didn't bother renewing it, so now it's dead. I just felt like it was a waste, because no one visited it and it wasn't drumming up any business. And as far as where to get a copy, you should still be able to get it from Comixpress (the place that printed it for us). If this link doesn't work, then you can just go to the Comixpress.com website and search "Eternal Day" and it'll come up: store.comixpress.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=449&zenid=sibl5c03e8m3nfdvirh07lg8n5How funny, I haven't been to that site in a long while and I just noticed someone wrote a review of the first book: "Not a 'super-guy' comic or a 'funny book', this is bizarre surrealism in comic form, presented in a clean pencil style. If you want a change from riverdale and gotham, pick this up." (4 out of 5 stars) Date Added: 04/26/2007 by john sherrill Who the heck is John Sherrill? I didn't even know anyone else out there bought it. Fun. And just so you know, the book is extremely challenging to the point that many people were turned off by its experimental nature. The writer's writing style is also challenging, since he writes in a more poetic/verse sort of style. But the second book will be a little more coherent and plot-driven and develops the story further. The third book may be more of a mix of experimental with coherent story. We'll see.

http:www.myspace.com/skepticatheist is mine. I sent a friend request to you(or to "Eternal Day" rather) Jai. People with no MySpace page are just afraid of some cyber-pussy. They are afraid of getting virtually laid(i.e. wanking off to pics of a girl who looks sort of good and seems all the more attractive since she is stalking you). You just do "real life" stuff because you have no VIRTUAL LIFE Red Dog. I pity you. EDIT: Just occurred to me that sometimes my sense of humor does not come through so I just wanted to be extra sure that anyone reading the above understands it as sarcasm/pathetic attempt at levity.

Another update: the writer is taking his sweet ass time in finishing off the final 4 or 6 pages. I can't blame him though. The fucker works 60 hours a week in a food service company and has a newborn baby. I'll try and post the first four pages or so when I get a chance so you can all bask in the glory...hole.
