Anyone seen this yet? If so, was it worth paying the $10 to see it at the theater? Or is it a renter? I've heard some mixed reviews. The critics seem to be giving it good marks, but the common folk are divided, with some people saying it's not as good as the first one and that it's "gay", "silly" and "campy". I'm thinking of seeing it sometime this weekend, but I just wanted some feedback from all y'all.

I'm thinking of seeing it sometime this weekend, but I just wanted some feedback from all y'all. I saw it last Saturday. And let me first say, I wouldn't pay $10 to see ANY movie. At least not as of 2008 with gasoline at $4 a gallon. But it was damn sure worth the $6 I paid to see it at a matinee! How much did you dig the first one? That's the critical thing. If you loved the first one, you'll love this one. If you weren't impressed by the first one, you won't be by this one, either. I liked it, even the goofy moments were funny -and usually I don't find any of that shit funny unless its a comedy- and the characters were still cool. I didn't like it as much as the first one, but I did enjoy it and while it's not a "see-it-twice-in-the-theater" movie (there has only been one of those this year; Iron Man!), it's definitely a dvd I'll pick up when it's released. Bottom line- did ya like Hellboy?
