Yes, it's official: Eternal Day #2 is currently at Comixpress in pre-production. We'll first get a proof copy printed and sent to us before ordering any quantity. And actually, this time if you want a copy (or copies) of the book you'll have to order them through Comixpress, because unfortunately with school and work I just don't have the time to put packages together and send them out. We also don't have enough cash to print up a bunch to sell. It's just all around easier to distribute it through Comixpress.
So yeah, once I have the proof and it's okay'd I'll let you guys know when it's available for order. Just thought I'd keep you all in the loop. I think you'll all enjoy this issue more than the first, because it's a little more traditional in its storytelling approach. There's an actual story line that you can follow.
And we've already got the idea for how #3 is going to be created. We think it'll be even better than the first two books! ;D

You going to sell any art form #2? Most likely "yes", but these pages are smaller (6.875 x 10.5 inches) and a lot of the final touches and backgrounds were added later in Photoshop. So a lot of what you'll see in the final, printed book isn't there on the original artwork. So I guess what I'm saying is, "Yes, most of the pages will be for sale, but they might not look the same as they do in the book". Because of that I'd probably sell them at $20 or $30 each. Super bargain! But yeah, if after anyone gets the book and wants a particular page, just send me a PM or email.

Man...these Comixpress people take their sweet ass time. Does it really take that long to put the pages into order by throwing them into InDesign or Acrobat? I should have done it myself, but then even if it was ready to print they probably still would have waited around for a week before printing a proof. *grumble grumble*

Got the proof copy of Eternal Day #2 today! Check it: Unfortunately there were some minor issues with the quality of the original artwork. On a lot pages where things were supposed to be black, like panel lines, hair, etc., they were a washed out looking gray. So I had to tweak all of the levels in the original artwork files, swap them out in the Illustrator files, export them to TIFFs and then edit them in Photoshop. There has to be a more efficient way of doing things, but that's what happens when you don't know what you're doing like me! So anyway, I fixed it all up and re-submitted the corrected files tonight. Probably will be another week to get another proof and THEN we'll be ready to distribute it to the masses. I mean, it didn't look that bad in the first proof, but I figure, "Hey, we spent two years putting this thing together and we're spending our money printing some copies, so why not make it as perfect as possible?" Oh yeah, speaking of printing it, we've decided to make it available to the Rebel Studios crew for $2 an issue, as opposed to the $4 an issue on the Comixpress web store (BTW: it costs us $1.88 per book to print), since you guys have been a constant source of support and encouragement. I'm not sure how many we'll have available, but it'll definitely be a limited quantity. If you end up wanting or needing more than what we have on hand, you'll have to get extra copies from Comixpress. I'll keep you updated on the new proof, as well as when it'll be ready to order.

I dig how you stuck to no logo on the front cover, I'm down for 10 copies if that helps you to determine how many to print. I can prepay also.
