Well if money is tight, why don't we (die hard fans...well, the one's that have money ) pitch in and get it printed? It might not be for profit (well, most likely definitely not for profit), but at least it would be printed and the die hard fans would be satisfied. Or as mtj777 said, why not go digital with it now and then eventually, when times are better, print it? Or even better, the money made from the digital version could be used to print the the hard copy version. I JUST WANT ME SOME FAUST! I have seen 8 pages of Faust 15 and it is glorious. Too bad you have to wait bitches!!!

Oh, that's right...blow jobs. ;D But seriously...ask Tim this weekend what's going on with Faust 14 and if he plans on printing it anytime soon.

pretty sure we wont see it until 15 is done as well, a one two punch for the climax. I dont think the writing has been finished either.

Some time back our dear UK said that Tim was planning to print 14 by last september. But then Tim chimed in here that he just didn't have the funds to print it. So it seems that 14 is completely finished and ready to print. I don't know what's going on with 15, but I remember that a long time back Tim had said he didn't want to print 14 until 15 was done. So yeah, it appears that that's his plan now...which kind of stinks.

Tim...you're killing us...slowly. Need...more...Faust...
By the way, I was flipping through some comic book price guide at Barnes and Noble a couple weeks ago and looked up "Faust: Love of the Damned". It says that issue #10 is the final book in the series!!!

I hate to bring this up, but with Diamond putting the nails on the coffins of so many Indies right now with their new minimums, it is seriously time to think about going digital. comicsworthreading.com/2009/01/16/diamond-raises-order-minimums/I was reading about what Bill Black ( of AC Comics fame) was doing to stay afloat... he raised his cover prices to $9.95 and $29.95 (!) just to meet Diamond's minimums now. He since seen the error of hiw ways, and is now delievering his comics digitally, which his fan base can buy directly, but he is no longer doing print comics. I love Faust:LOTD and DEFINITELY want to see the end, whether in Digital or Print format. But at $29.95 ( using AC Comic's attempt at getting around Diamond) may mean that stores never order it.....

Digital comics are just wrong though. It is like recording someone on TV turning the pages of a comic book you might want. If comics start going digital I will stop buying them.

i agree. i like to hold, turn pages, get black ink all over my fingers, smell the book, not to mention have the artist sign & possibly re-marque it. the whole digital thing is so impersonal.

Yeah, I'm also against the digitization of comic books. I don't think Tim needs to put Faust out in a digital format, but he could definitely just go with a print-on-demand, online, digital printer, like Comixpress or Ka-Blam. Although at the same time, they have restrictions on printing books they deem to be "pornographic". But it might be possible to finagle something with Comixpress (I know a guy that was working there; not sure if he still is though), where maybe they would agree to print a quantity of them, but not sell them on their website. In other words, Tim could have them print up like 500 - 1000 books and just sell them directly or through Anthony (Underworld)'s website or on Ebay or whatever. I really think that's the way to go. It's very unlikely that Faust is going to meet Diamond's minimum order. And what's the point of printing through Brenner Printing (or wherever Tim was getting them printed) when they require you to purchase a minimum print run like 1500 or 2500 books? Just print enough for the diehard fans to get it. It would save on costs and take out the middle man, which means pure profit into Tim and Dave's pockets. But Tim is stubborn and set in his ways and probably won't even consider going this route.
